OK, I'm trying to finish wiring my aux and work lights. I have been trying to follow Honda's instructions for the work light harness. You would think that they would have provided the more straight forward approach, right? Well Step #2, remove the following:

- Seat cushion and backrest = NP
- Seat bottom cover (left only) = NP
- Seat Rear Cover = NP
- Rear floor cover = not fun: halfway through all the plastic connectors and drilling out one unmovable Philips screw, I said "whoo!" Still had to disconnect hand brake and more! Then:
- Front Floor Plate
- Front Floor cover

The harness is suppose to run right along the existing main harness and wire tied in numerous places. OK, why not just remove the two skid plates? I drove it up on ramps and easily removed the plates. Running a harness along from underneath was easy. I still have to tie wrap up and finish connections. But this is certainly a much easier approach. Added bonus is you get to clean out a bunch of crap that the pressure washer never seems to get.

Yeah, I ran all my wiring from underneath. Down the firewall and zip tied on top of frame to the back.

I finished the project today and going from underneath is definitely the answer. You still have to remove seat and one side like you are doing a filter change, but that is easy.

Instructions by an engineer who designed it and not the tech who does it. In other words those that can do those that can't instruct. Lol

OR if you're the shop charging $80 hr who cares how long it takes it's more income.

PS check out P1K oem winch install instructions, makes a 1 hour job into 8.

And when you see how they "engineer" some of their accessories, it's not too hard to believe that some of the instructions are a pita way of doing things.
You mean like cup holders that don't hold cups?

I have the Honda hardtop, full windshield, and cargo tray, and did not have problems with the instructions. I have the rear bumper coming this week and that looks straight forward and easy. So far, the work light wiring harness seems to be the exception.
