I got one of those $13 digital tach/hour meters off Amazon because i was interested in what RPM the Pioneer's converter stalls at.
Mine was right at 3200 RPM every time, full throttle and brakes, no tire rotation. Keep in mind that i am at 4800', so lower elevations ( and the higher power that comes with it ) will be a little higher.
