Even though Im not a Ram fan. This is No joke, Living near there proving grounds and driving past it daily, seen more HD Ram trucks than usual coming in and out with manufactured plates the last few months. One was up the road about 10 miles last week sitting with no hazard lights or nothing like a brake down of some sort. They had something going on. Usually see this type of activity when there having an issue. At least thats what my friend thats an engineer there tells me. Most things she cant talk about. Weather this is related or not, who knows?

I might just hit it with a BFH! Me and the Toolbox have been having a "Love/Hate" relationship lately 😆
Remember the good ole days when you had a swing way latch, hook with a chain to keep the tail gate closed, no cell phones, wives that were different in a good way, pick up trucks that were meant for work, not six foot off the ground?

Talked to my friend from the proving grounds last night. All she could say was “uh huh” with a smirk on her face. So in other words, cant talk about it 🤣
She knows Im a Ford guy and relinquish any opportunity When I see there stuff broke down on the side of the road with manufacturer plates 😂 To be fair, we do get Ford and Chevy’s driving by in groups of 4-5 at times with MP’s and Ive yet to see any of those behing hauled away on flat beds.

She did say that its in litigation right now and can only say that they've been working on it. So take that for what its worth 🤷‍♂️

Well I’ve always been a Ford guy, I’ve had rangers, f150s, f250s and they’ve been pretty good trucks but not bullet proof. My 2005 f150 had a cam phaser issue at 54k which resulted in the engine being replaced, then at 65k my 4wd would randomly ratchet while trying to engage because of vacuum system (while I was driving in 2wd down the road not asking for 4wd), my 2007 f250 had the rear brake caliper lock down at around 45k because of a brake line issue which warped the rotor and destroyed the caliper and had the carbon canister issue which only allowed me to pump in one gallon at a time at the pumps. Still like Ford but thy aren’t perfect and I’ve had two Ram trucks now and have liked them both. Conclusion: they all have issues.

I agree i think you take all 3 of the major brands rub them together and would have a hard time coming up with a good truck. The govt pretty much ruined the diesel engine.Cut weight cut quality.
I’d buy a Toyota if they built a 3/4 ton.
