Thanks to the idea of air diverters that @mlynch001 made, I was inspired to make something similar. I had always wanted sun visors and thought maybe I could incorporate where I could have sun visors as well as the air diverters. My design skills are seriously lacking and the only program that I know how to use is Tinkercad. This is what I came up with. It allows you to use as a diverter or sun visor with infinite adjustments. I used washers printed from flexible filament so it holds in position. Didn't even have a need for lock nuts so far. I never realized how much air comes in between the roof and windshield until reading @mlynch001 post. At 20 mph it feels like a fan blowing on you. Instead of printing the diverter, I made a bracket and bolted it to a piece of 1/4" Hdpe, 9 inches tall and 12 inches wide.

Where did you get those brackets? I did this a couple years ago and used hinges made for boats deck lids to keep them open in the wind, worked great for a while and then failed. Still have them just been looking for different hinges. Thanks!

Still works for me. Sometimes loosens a little on rough ground. Probably need to make the tpu washers a little thicker or put some star washers on behind the knob.

Ram Mount, 1" ball, might work well for the brackets and would allow a broad range of adjustments. Also, I think using Plexi or Polycarbonate would be good as it doesn't block vision . . . unless, of course, you want to be able to use it for a sun visor. I have my tablet mounted up there, so I won't be experimenting with this.
