I have a 2020 talon1000x4 and recently noticed that the back wheels were kicked out in the front. Have heard it is possibly a blown shock. Anyone have this issue
I don't believe it has anything to do with Shocks. Maybe if you go to the Talon forum this issue has probably been addressed.
I doubt it. It's got portals so everything looks strange in pics.Looks like the tire is backwards?

Oh, that! As you can tell, I don't know s*** about MUD. I detest mud and avoid it at all costsThe direction of the tire
Pics can't really show what is going on due to optical illusions. For instance, to me it also looks like there is a lot of negative camber too.
Portals will add extra leverage and lower the suspension geometry so you may need to adjust your ride height so the suspension is back to stock geometry. The formula is...
New Ride Height = Stock Ride Height + Portal Size + (New Tire Diameter - 28")/2
After you make sure you are at the correct "new" ride height, What are the actual Camber and Toe readings on the rear? rid
Can't really forget the factory ride height, it is all over the internet. Honda calls it "Ground Clearance" (circled on is the 2020 X4LV)...What if he doesn't remember his original ride height, I got got a trick for setting spring sag from motorcycle racing years.
YesWas it toed out before you installed the Portals?
It is. Just put that rim and tire on te
It is I temporarily put that on there. In the process of putting on portalsLooks like the tire is backwards?
That's what I was thinking. It's definitely out-of whackIf it's not due to the picture angle making it look out of whack, then it looks to me like the rear trailing arm is bent. My cousin bent his and it looked like that.....
On my cousin's it was really hard to see the bend in the rear arm by just standing looking at it and it wasn't much of a bend to put it out of whack. He slid back down a tall rock face and slammed his back wheel just right tweeking it just enough. It was a really hard hit! That's what I was thinking. It's definitely out-of whack
Definitely looked it over good. No paint chips or obvious bends. It was like that before I installed portals. I was hoping once I changed out all the s*** u gotta change to put on portals it would fix it but it didn't. So I'm guessing it has to be bent trailing or radius arms.On my cousin's it was really hard to see the bend in the rear arm by just standing looking at it and it wasn't much of a bend to put it out of whack.
