I posed a question on the RM website....is "DOT" embossed on the side of the tire? An officer would not know and would question you for proof if he stopped you.

I have over a thousand miles on these. there is a DOT number on the sidewall. I love them, no flats. Stiff sidewall. I run 10 lbs in each and have rotated them.

Sweet, that's good news!

Hey Ed, how about an "owners review"...LOL

I'm wondering how the ride quality was effected by moving to such a heavy and rugged tire. Did the ride quality suffer noticeably?
And along with reduced sidewall flex (I'm assuming here...) did it improve body roll in fast turns? This is a BIGGIE for me running here in the west.

I'm really wanting this to be my next tire, but it has to be the right tire the first time...ya know what I mean...

The sidewall is a lot stiffer, its a harder tire and you can tell it over small rocks and sticks and such. with 8-10 lbs air the ride is good but not as cushy as stock tires. I don't notice any body roll at all. Performance did not seem to suffer. I did this comparison when i first got them going with the 28 x 10 x 14. I also added a 1 inch rear spacer to get them out to the same as the front width.

Great Info! Thanks for the reply. Based on all the feedback here I'm gonna go with the Tensors' on my stock wheels. Gonna be a bit though, other irons in the fire right now...One thing that astounded me was the increased weight...10-14 lbs each! Wow...

Yeah.. but if that weight is in the sidewall and you run a lot of rocks it will be worth it

I ran them on my 700 for a thousand miles then machine was traded in on the 1000 i made them switch the tires over. Now I've got 1500 on them with the 1000. No wear to speak of. And are a great setup for fast fire roads blacktop ect.
