That is great to hear! Im going to be running these this winter in below zero temps so I hope they hold up, but if not they are an attractive enclosure for upgrades;)

Nice, I would go that direction as well if I had to do it again. So many more options and room to expand. Glad to see you said starting speakers. I went with cheapies too but based on our shared addiction you'll want better quality down the road. Hopefully that little amp that comes with it will turn out better than the one that came with my Boss speakers. It stayed on whenever the ignition was on, even if the stereo was off and then I tried forever to get the engine noise out of it with shorter ground runs and isolators but never could get rid of it until I just took it out.

Lol, I was just admiring your thread where you added the bar for the speakers! I was thinking that was a great idea! Might have to have @Delton build one for me;)
Ive been needing a p5 owner to live near me for a long time. That puppy is screaming for a badazz cage build.

I need to invest in a tiny home that I can pull down and park in your yard just to take advantage of that offer;) :p

These speakers don’t come with an amp and are 400 watts. I’m not running an amp to them right away and will just use the 25 watts (50 peak) x 4 provided by the SSV Receiver. I do have one of those little amps that you are talking about in my golf cart build

I know where you shouldn't mount it........lol

This is where I mounted mine , will your's fit in the same spot ?

View attachment 98294

That's about the only place you can mount it unless you built something overhead. Guess you could build it into a console too but...could put it in a ram mount to stand off the dash...that's all I got.

PS. Ordered the speakers today and these connectors, they're pretty slick.
