Part of the reason so many older people are entering retirement in poverty is because all they've got is one leg on their stool, social security. Investing throughout there lives, saving, is no longer part of the American way. Debt and no savings seems to be the new American way, both on Main Street and in Washington. So........we need to do something different.

Well saving in the bank won't do you any good with almost zero interest. I'd say you're right in with the real estate. It's only a matter of time before these record highs in the stock market are a distant memory. I'll admit, I have practically no savings. Just got my wife through college tho, so that should change soon now that she's started working.

I liked a lot of Ben Carson's ideas. He was too honest and real to be of any interest to Americans. I honestly think that man could've made a difference. He is an extremely intelligent self made man who could've turned this country back into the intended direction.

I don't think he was liking about that.. Not exactly something you falsely advertise. My point being I like him and think he was exactly what we needed... Just because someone learns to control their rage doesn't mean they're not capable of unleashing it!
