Pulled the trigger on the 2016 EPS with 350 miles... it's in like-new condition and just a beast! $13,500 including windshield and factory hard top. No sales tax.

Only issue so far is that there seems to be water in the front seat... smells musty and I can hear it sloshing around when I take the seat off. Think I just need to lay it out in the sun to dry completely out.

Welcome from Mississippi! Some people just drill a couple of holes in the bottom. Also the seat for a 2017 which will fit is supposed to be a lot softer if you wanted to upgrade.

Has anyone checked Abernathy's lately? Advertising '18 deluxe 1000-5 models for $13,994. $300 more than the base 1000-5. Tenn would have been like a 6 hour drove but geeeezeeee. I would have made it for that deal.

'17 1k-5 LE press demo, sold as new with 78 miles. Included hard roof, 2-piece windshield, 48 mo. ext warranty (total 60 mo.), oil/filter change, delivery to my driveway from 12 hrs away.

Paid $16,344 ($17,324 OTD w/ 6 perc tax)

Wish I had a way of knowing if/which magazine or commercial it was used for. Would be nice to have a copy... Maybe this will help someone on a "demo." I've seen new floor models with over 30 mi. on them, I'd call that a demo. Still some '17s floating around out there. Good Luck!

Ha! Which publication? Every one I've seen vs. Ranger is a deluxe or standard, not LE. Either way, it's still a Polaris and I didn't buy the 1k5 to race. Have experience with Polaris, like Honda's DCT.

In my search for the possible publication I've found most LE's used in videos have accessories like a winch that don't appear to have been previously installed on mine. Betting it was a test track resident out in CA. No hits to the skid plates or fender flares so thinking it was a groomed track to ride circles.

Just picked up a P1K5 LImited Edition for $19,500 OTD (Base price, tax, title, reg, and nominal doc prep fee included in that number). I’m sure there was a little meat left on the bone but the dealer was very fair and straightforward. I visited 4 dealers and this was by far the lowest price. Im sure I could have gone back and forth and played them off each other but I’m getting too old for that crap! This dealer was a pleasure to deal with. I thought about doing an out of state deal to avoid the tax but in the end I’d rather pay $1kish in order to get it now and not have to hassle with a shipper etc.

I thought about buying a deluxe to save a few grand and have the traditional locking front diff, but to be honest I’m past the point of pride and I’m sure the i4WD can do a much better job at the selection than I can. I’m ok admitting that!

Anyways, look forward to contributing here it seems like a good group and lots of awesome info!

What dealer did you use in AZ? Been looking at used but may go new if I can find a decent dealer with some discounts.

I looked into buying out of state, you avoid tax but when you register at DMV you pay tax. No savings there!

Sounds close but probably can get a better deal if you shop around. I was a little impatient and I bought my 2016 Deluxe with a two piece W/S and a soft top w/4 yr Honda warranty for 17,500

I thought that was a good deal. Previous owner paid 18k 2 years ago. The dealer took too long to fix it so she bought another one.

Why does it have a new engine?

She drowned it in a creek, bent a rod. Insurance paid for everything. Honda took 5 months to fix it. Has a one year warrantee too. (Work done only)
