Finally starting to go through Clutch some. Man that front end is all loose, needs everything! For this weekend it gets ‘22 tie rods and tie rod ends. Very beefy. Don’t like killing off the weak link but whatever
Like said everything worn out so this’ll make little difference but one tie rod wasn’t far from letting go so it’s a bit safer. Really love this machine but after so much abuse she needs a s*** ton of help, good machine it’s worth it. Full rebuild getting closer!

Don't worry about the 2022 tie rods I have mine sleeved for thousands of miles no harm done.
My wife caught a tree with outside of the front tire and ripped the tab off the frame no broken steering or bent tie rod.
My opinion is that the engineers where not trying to make a fuse but where caught with there pants down trying to save weight and material and underestimated hard we push are machines.

Probably true. I do like how Honda fixed a few issues we have with the machines, they are slow but do actually hear some things.
Well my rack is already loose so considering RB3 down road, I’ll just tighten it up for now. I know it’ll be a little harder on that but we have gotten a lot better at protecting the front of the tires from side impact. Been a long time since had to replace tie rod end.

Been saying Clutch needs some help now for awhile. Parts are coming in. Got bushing kit from RB3 for the SuperAtv a-arms. This is second set I’ve purchased but other set was about 3 1/2 years ago.
also 1” front wheel spacers, I’m not a fan at all of spacers but it needs them for different offset of the Talon front wheels.

Also picked up some weld washers from @Neohio. A special thanks to him for going and having these made again, he’s got more if anyone needs them.
bought two sets, one for me, replacing the last set from few years back, ya I guess we’ve been really hard on the Pioneer lol. And another set for our friend that has really worn out tabs on his 30k mile Pioneer. Opted for an extra bolt and nut to throw in the extra parts bag. Thanks again @Neohio!

Well I’m reversing the massive springs I had made. I really liked them being we’re usually loaded, it gave a huge performance bump during aggressive driving. I guess it made it feel a bit more sporty when rolling heavy.
But she’s now not loaded as heavy and I’m not driving as much since the addition of the Talon and been getting a couple complaints about ride quality (along with everything being worn the f*** out) so back to stock with added preload.
Since my dealer buddy owes me a lot for a total I rebuilt him I had him throw a rebuild at the shocks and he played around with them a bit.

Well to those who have driven the Pioneer they know exactly how much prayers were said driving it. coming up on 5 years of absolutely giving it hell wore literally everything in the nose out, Very little overall was done to it with the exception of having to rebuild it body wise twice from being totaled out a couple times.
Picked up all the bearings, bushings, weld washers, ball joints, tie rod/tie rod ends, brakes, went back to the softer Fox springs and added wheel spacers to get the tracking correct for the Talon wheels. Adjusted all the springs and got it sitting good and tight.
Long night but my son and I just got done and everything looks good.
Added strength and durability with the weld washers, not too bad for a night after work. Might still be beat to death but it’s mechanically sound, the engine/trans are still perfect, all else is great. It’s really been a great machine especially considering the lack of maintenance and absolute hell it’s been given not just by me but a multitude of family and friends. It never needed instructions or warnings to other people on what not to do to kill it like so many other machines. She lives again!!

Special thanks to @Neohio, @SuperATV @RB3offroad and Ron Ayer’s Honda.
