Well to those who have driven the Pioneer they know exactly how much prayers were said driving it. coming up on 5 years of absolutely giving it hell wore literally everything in the nose out, Very little overall was done to it with the exception of having to rebuild it body wise twice from being totaled out a couple times.
Picked up all the bearings, bushings, weld washers, ball joints, tie rod/tie rod ends, brakes, went back to the softer Fox springs and added wheel spacers to get the tracking correct for the Talon wheels. Adjusted all the springs and got it sitting good and tight.
Long night but my son and I just got done and everything looks good.
Added strength and durability with the weld washers, not too bad for a night after work. Might still be beat to death but it’s mechanically sound, the engine/trans are still perfect, all else is great. It’s really been a great machine especially considering the lack of maintenance and absolute hell it’s been given not just by me but a multitude of family and friends. It never needed instructions or warnings to other people on what not to do to kill it like so many other machines. She lives again!!
