P500 Tires and Wheels

I am new to this forum and have a question about tire and wheel sizes.
I have a P500 and would like to put 30 inch tall tires on it for ground clearance. I'm installing spacers on the shocks to help.
Should I use 12 in. or 14 in. Wheels?
What offset and or spacers?
I think I would like to use the same size wheels, front and rear.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

30's are pretty tall for the 500 especially if they are truly 30". May want to go with arched A arms for the front or they're going to rub. Spacers in the shocks suck and just make it ride rougher than it already does. If you're going that high I would recommend 4+3 offsets. Usually a smaller wheel will give you a softer ride due to more sidewall but again going that tall I don't think 14" wheels would hurt. FWIW

I run the 30" Interco R-force. I like em, I used 12" wheels so I could air down for climbing in rocky areas and get better grip but I don't think I would go with 12" again since while aired down I tend to blow a tire off the rim. I cant run 6-7 psi for very long without issue, even if I glue the tires onto the rims with Silicone. I do love the tires and with 5/2 rims and 2" spacers they worked well and put me at 54" wide. If you can look for the ITP steel wheel in 4+3 with the 4x110 spacing those are kinda cheap, just be sure and get the proper lug nuts as the stock ones wont work on ITP rims. Forget about shock spacers, in my opinion they just cause you to ride stiff and fall over even ore often due to a lack of articulation. Toss the sway bar and read the shock thread on this forum.

Thinking more options with 14 inch rims, have 27s. 5-2 offset adds width to about 54 if that is an issue. Big improvement.
