I ordered the Pioneer 1000 rear bumper from Superatv last week. It came and I installed it today. I was looking for better access to my rear winch but still some rear bumper protection. It installed easy and I like it. For me it could fit 2-3" closer to the roll cage but it'll work. I'll have to come up with a new reverse light mount but ran out of time today

Passenger side is going together

The McMastercarr bolts measured out to .470 and were a good fit in the sleeves. I used a 1/2" unibit to drill out the a-arms tabs and got a nice round hole. One thing to note is my front a-arms tab weld washers are counterbored for m10 flange nuts rather than Allen heads so the m12 Allen head fit inside the counter bore. On the nut side it is larger OD than the counter bore. I'm going to look into a washer to fill the gap but I'll probably be ok on the flange with a double nut and red locktite.

Sleeve from @RB3offroad was perfect for my a-arms tabs and matched the OD of the m10 sleeve

200 miles on the new bushings and bolts. Front end is a lot tighter and quieter. Bolts are still torqued. I have noticed more squeak from the upper bushings but that's likely because they are pivoting with a little more clamp load. It did get quieter with time. I think this was a worthwhile upgrade.

Cleaned up after Drummond Island. Pretty good size hole in the driver footwell from a log coming in. Steering wheel is a bit off center but she's basically ready to go wheeling

Rear tires are still rubbing a bit on everything.

2022 Pioneer tie rods are a confirmed fit and they look good too. The outers match the Talon X and the inners are a beefier middle tube that the original tie rods. The geometry keeps the tie rod from rubbing my tires are full lock and pinching the brake likes with SuperATV arms.

Tie rods double nutted for her pleasure

Hey man, I'm upgrading mine 2016 to 22+ tie rods and have a couple questions.

1. The 16 outer tie rod has a 12mm stud/ On the 22 it only 10? Must be the wrong part? On this post you said the outers matched the talon, so that's not the issue. What was different with the first set you got that were for a talon. ( mentioned a few posts before this one )

2. Do recall seeing these little sleeve/clips? No idea what they would be for. For a second I thought they were to adapt the smaller stud to the steering knuckle, but that doesn't seem right. it should be a full sleeve then. They would fit on the inside, but again, for what purpose?

TIA!

Still happy with the bolt upgrade? I'm thinking about getting the kit from RB3. I also need to find some of the weld in washers. Do you recommend adding gussets on the a arm tabs? The issue I'm having is the bolt holes in my front upper a arm mounts are becoming oval shaped. Thanks

I would recommend the bolt upgrade. I also recommend gussets and weld washers. I broke several upper a-arm bolts with the gussets and washers. I was at about 800-1000 miles before the bolts broke. I have over 1000 miles on this setup and it is still together. The whole front end feels a lot tighter with the new bolts torqued. It's a sample size of 1 but it was a beefy upgrade. Once thing to consider is my weld washers are counter bored. The front weld washer now fits the Allen head bolt but my rear doesn't not. I also have my bolts double nutted with flanged nuts and jam nuts

Thanks. Guess it's not much more work to weld gussets in while I'm doing the washers anyway. What all comes with the RB3 kit? Not much detail on their website. I'm guessing bolts and just the metal bushing/tube?

I picked the bolts I wanted. They just sell the bushings and sleeves
