The HD3s look good. They were my 2nd choice after the 6s. Hated to spend 330 for something I'm going to scuff up but couldn't find any cheap 14" wheels

No idea bout the 6+1. I've always heard the 5+2 was close to stock. My 30s stick out in the front and sling mud everywhere. But mine aren't skinnies either.
I thought I read somewhere that the 6+1 were stock. The fronts will only be 1/2 inch narrower on the front so really 1/4" on each side.

Attempted to paint the letters just now. I used a paint pen and it wasn't looking to good the second time over. I may not have given it enough time to dry. Ae24c19cd251c5ae96746148dd5b0906

I like the white across the back. I'm wondering if anyone makes a decal yet for that I know they did on the 700

Maybe that's what it was, heck I can't remember. I suffer from old timers disease lol

This coming Friday I'll be ordering new wheels for the OL2s. I'm going with HD3s. There is the option for 5+2 and 6+1. My thought was I could but the 6+1 for the front and the 5+2 for the rear and it should give the same stance. Am I wrong? or should I just go with the 5+2 and get 1" spacers for the rear?

I would get the same offset wheels so you can rotate them. The spacers aren't too expensive and seem to hold up to my abuse.

The 5-2 is a little wider in the front and a little more narrow in the back. The 6-1 is real close to stock in the front and a lot skinnier in the back.

Either size would be fine if you get all four the same and use 1" spacers.

I won't be able to rotate the tires because they will be skinny/wides.

I got to thinking about it, if I get the 5+2 I can get 1" spacers for the rear and equal out my stance on all 3 sets of my wheels and tires.

Tuesday I should be picking up a set of skinny/wide Outlaw 2s. Have a little rock/road rash but for the price I can't beat it View attachment 14127
Would you call the stock p1k "skinny/wide"
Why is the advantage of skinny wide? Just different types of traction front and back I guess. I'm debating a 9" X 11" width setup (Stock) vs 10s all around. Probably going with Evos
Thanks

I call stock skinny wide. I'm not sure if there is an advantage or not to skinny wides. My truck tires are 9 wides and the Roctane XS are 10s. Both setups feel stable.

The OL2S will be 9.5 x 11

Sounds like most folks are going for same size all around so they can rotate.
I wasn't sure if Honda used 9 x 11 for performance reasons or just cause they didn't want a wider machine with bigger tires on the front.

For the price I'm getting these OL2s I'm not worried about having to rotate. The rear tires have a little rock/road rash but if need be I'll replace the rear with skinnies. For the mud skinnies are a little better because you'll cut through the mud better.

I personally like the same size all around, 1 you can rotate and 2 I like the looks better

With the help of some of the guys on the Facebook page (join and check it out) I was able to extend all of my hoses this afternoon. Tomorrow I should start working on my snorkel.

Got the hose today. It wasn't as stiff as I was hoping for, but I think it'll work. I can squeeze it together without a lot of resistance. I'll post some pictures of it after lunch.

Pictures of the stuff I have.

6 feet of hose, 2 elbows, 1 3 inch pcv pipe, silicone, pvc sement, 2 hose clamps, and dielectric grease. Around $30.
