Yes. As I have gotten into sxs stuff, having a vehicle to run into town is nice.
There are other reasons as well best discussed over numerous beers at Takeover

Very nice rig! Some unsolicited advice that might help you there at the pumps. You can use the pumps for simis at pilots, flying J’s , love’s and the like. Easy to to get in and out and all you need to do is pre pay. I know it’s a PITA going in, but it sure saves you the stress of wondering if your gona make it. I use them all the time with my 38’ toyhauler.A couple of pics from my drive home
I think this feature will be utilized heavily ... mobile beer garden!

Yes it does lol. I have a good sam discount card that saves me the same. Other truck stops will also let you use those pumps as well. You fill up, then just pull forward of the pump so the next guy can get in , go back inside to pay. Easy peasy and lower hart rate! LolYes, I have a Flying J charge card that gets me a $0.09 discount. There just wasn’t one near where we had to stop. Had the clearance here but it sure made the other half nervous

Be careful in the entrance to royal blue, the guard rail is tight.
The 1000's are 116.8" long and most toy haulers are built for a certain load so you can buy anywhere, just make sure the carrying capacity is enough to haul your stuff. Another consideration if you go with a toy hauler you may want to trade your gasser F-250 for a diesel.Just curious, Does it make more sense to buy a toy hauler say in the PNW where I do most of my exploring ? Are they made to different standards for different regional areas or are they all pretty much the same besides having it winterized? Last question; How long is a P1000, in case I ever upgrade? I wish I knew the fabled Talon's length...Thanks
Not all 12’ garages will fit a 1000. Some have a half bath that sticks into the garage, really reduces available space. The 1000's are 116.8" long and most toy haulers are built for a certain load so you can buy anywhere, just make sure the carrying capacity is enough to haul your stuff. A 12" garage in the toy hauler will handle your new ride.
That is correct on the half bath, but Acre Man does not have a bunch of creepy kids so he can get by with 1 bathroom, hell he will still probably crap outside anyway. Not all 12’ garages will fit a 1000. Some have a half bath that sticks into the garage, really reduces available space.
Thanks Alan. Have a '17 F350 gasser. Yes I wish it was a diesel but, it's paid for...My concern wasn't just load, but insulation and weather worthiness concerning where I'd like to spend most of my time. The 1000's are 116.8" long and most toy haulers are built for a certain load so you can buy anywhere, just make sure the carrying capacity is enough to haul your stuff.
