I only have a p520 right now but maybe a 1000-5 somewhere in the future, but who knows. I just bought a new Aluma 7712 to grow into. Only about 600lbs and built solid.

I am using my enclosed trailer that I have had for quite a few years. I bought the Talon ( a 2021 1000X-4 ) before I realized my trailer wasnt tall enough...
I had to improvise to find a solution;

It did require spacers to be used and I only recommend using for loading and unloading in the trailer but it saved me from having to buy a new trailer...View attachment 301278
What wheels and tires are those, and how did you mount the wheel to the car? You have to remove wheels and spacers every time?

I bought the tires/wheels from Home Depot:

I chose the flat free tires because they had a flat surface I could mount to - I already had the spacers for my paddle tires and used the spacers to drill the holes for the spacers to mount to. I also had to find bolts at a local hardware store. The spacers are needed to provide clearance for the brake calipers. Yes, I need to mount them every time to fit in my trailer, but they can be installed/swapped in about 10 - 15 minutes using a floor jack. Pretty simple to do and saved me a lot of hassle finding and buying a new enclosed trailer - well worth the 10 to 15 minutes...

Mine is 22ft tandem axle - two 3500lb axles - which gives me 7000lb - which I need for my race car. It does work well for my needs, so buying a different trailer just to accommodate the Talon would have been a real pain in the rear...

I have a 16’ tandem axel. The tandem is the way to go and they will have trailer brakes std on them and are a must them pulling a machine especially with gear imo. They do make some pretty nice single axels like above capable of pulling the weight but your limited in capacity and believe me, there will be times you will push it.
old pics but you get the idea. One has a gas log splitter on it. View attachment 297352View attachment 297353
