I have a 8x12 right now our 1000-5 fit perfectly on it. Just need to upgrade for the talonI only have a p520 right now but maybe a 1000-5 somewhere in the future, but who knows. I just bought a new Aluma 7712 to grow into. Only about 600lbs and built solid.
@Dan1225 did you get your new trailer?I have a 8x12 right now our 1000-5 fit perfectly on it. Just need to upgrade for the talon
No not yet been looking at a 16 and 20ft can’t make up my mind on what I want just yet@Dan1225 did you get your new trailer?
What wheels and tires are those, and how did you mount the wheel to the car? You have to remove wheels and spacers every time?I am using my enclosed trailer that I have had for quite a few years. I bought the Talon ( a 2021 1000X-4 ) before I realized my trailer wasnt tall enough...
I had to improvise to find a solution;

It did require spacers to be used and I only recommend using for loading and unloading in the trailer but it saved me from having to buy a new trailer...View attachment 301278
Mine is 22ft tandem axle - two 3500lb axles - which gives me 7000lb - which I need for my race car. It does work well for my needs, so buying a different trailer just to accommodate the Talon would have been a real pain in the rear...i have a 12 ft x 84 inch. single axle. with etrack to tie it down. it works. easy to store. but wish i had gotten a bigger with brakes and dual axle. $$$.
I have an 18' PJ tandem that has 7k lb capacity I use for my 2 seater and foreman and rancher 4 wheelers.Mine is 22ft tandem axle - two 3500lb axles - which gives me 7000lb - which I need for my race car. Let’s see it….😎Finally pulled the trigger on a 16ft trailer a guy at the shop I work at was selling got a steal of a deal
What brand is this trailer?I have a 16’ tandem axel. The tandem is the way to go and they will have trailer brakes std on them and are a must them pulling a machine especially with gear imo. They do make some pretty nice single axels like above capable of pulling the weight but your limited in capacity and believe me, there will be times you will push it.
old pics but you get the idea. One has a gas log splitter on it. View attachment 297352View attachment 297353
