I've got the JEI bed extender. It's a nice accessory. With the back seats up my 45 quart RTIC cooler, 2 ammo cans, Milwaukee job site radio all fits nice with quite a bit more room left. When it's folded in with the seats down, my cooler still fits in the area between the extender and the tailgate.

I’ve got the Honda bed extender but it’s a little heavy. I think the JEI bed extender is also just as heavy if not heavier. I would like to do a custom aluminum bed extender that attaches to the roll cage so it’s wider. I wish I knew somebody that knew how to weld aluminum and also had a bender!
I say this way too often, but an aluminum extender is on my to do list. Maybe something between my XXL version and the factory model. Too bad I used the last of my 1" tubing making wife a clothes rack for inside lol. Maybe one day it'll happen.

I looked at those but I’m trying to reduce weight. JEI has done a great job and it’s a great accessory. A friend that I ride with has a red one. I still have OEM extender which is nice but over built in my opinion. I’m with Delton on the aluminum.

So if anyone wants a good deal on the OEM bed extender, just let me know.

Not sure about how to mount it, but you might get a hand conduit bender and use conduit to make it out of? I think you can get bolt on connections for that stuff..... PVC may be an option to, just glue it together....

That is a rather large bed extender you have there....

It doesn't look so big in real life. I had 2 spares, 2 gas jugs, one huge azz cooler (holds 72 drinks I think), toolbox, and my trail box. Still had room left. I was very happy with it.
I got about 27 bucks in it.

Why would you be doing that

I don’t need to wear the good ones down while I’m at home. I pretty much drive traveller every day that I’m home. I keep my truck parked at the shop and drive the Honda to the house daily. You know what they say, you’ll lose it if you don’t use it.
