Hi all. I just picked up a used 2020 and they had 30s on it at one point with a Jakes 3" front suspension (so they say, I'm not sure). They left the front suspension on there but kept the wheels so the stock tires/wheels are on there now. The turning radius is very limited and I'm thinking it's the lift. My 2019 had a much tighter radius and it had stock suspension with 28s. Is there an upgraded steering box that will give more travel or is there something else I should be looking for? There's some squeaks in the steering with minor movement so it may be a little worn after a couple years with 30s.

I don't know of an aftermarket steering box with more travel.

FWIW, I have a JAKs Long Travel Kit on a P5 and the turning radius is significantly greater than with stock components.

Not familiar with the Jake's Lift...

I am not very familiar with the p500 or the Jake's brand. I will mention if it is similar to the p1000 and the highlifter brand, there may be a steering stop on the tie rods.

It could be something like this on a tie rod inside of the boot cover.

Im gonna say If you want a tighter turning radius, get it back to stock. That lift is restricting the limitations. I could be wrong, but I dont think there are any extended axles out there for the P5 to help with lifts
