P1000m5 Underseat Storage

Anyone know if the OEM underseat storage box for the 2017 will fit the 2016? According to the service guy at the dealer, only differences between the 16 and 17 that he knew of were a few harnesses (and I'm sure some other updates that Honda didn't tell him about).
But he said he's pretty sure that the chassis/body is the same.

All of these plastic storage options are stupid high!

Had to drill two holes for top flange push clips and one in bottom and had to use push clip in bottom instead of shoulder bolt. But fit fine. Good room to put things. I like it!

I'm torn between this and using this area for 2nd battery (larger deep cycle).....decisions decisions, I wish there was another place for a large battery!
