I'm torn between this and using this area for 2nd battery (larger deep cycle).....decisions decisions, I wish there was another place for a large battery!

why such a need for a big battery. bigger than can fit under hood. I use my extra battery under the hood lots for work lights and radio etc and have lots of power left over.

No real reason other than reassurance. Winching draws a ton of juice, so I want to be sure it can take the long draws and slow recovery. To my knowledge, there are no atv/motorcycle batteries that are deep cycle so I will have to go with an automotive style.

Sure, a 2nd smaller battery would work but in my humble opinion its not the right tool for the job where a deep cycle is.

Does it appear that they have done a better job sealing under the seat better on the 2017, beats a floppy piece of rubber.

I saw this list posted on FB were a guy ordered the parts for the install separately - believe he said you only needed 10 clips though

Where did he buy from? The clips are much cheaper on Ebay. But his OEM parts are a good price
