P1000 Vent line issue

I was installing the heat shield kit today on my 2021 1000-5 le and noticed this vent line was not hooked up. Wondering if this is issue to take up with dealer or is it a minor issue. I do not think it was ever hooked up from the looks of build

up in area. It has just under 300 miles and I had the dealer do the 100 mile service so I don't know if during that service it would have been un hooked? Any input would appreciated. Thank you.

I would just put it on and ride. Now if you have been in water deep enough to get anywhere near that I would inspect oil for contamination.

Doubt dealer took it off, but should have been caught on pre-delivery inspection by them.

Have not been in any deep water and did check oil. I did not think it was a big issue but wanted to run it by the group. Thank you.
