Water in cluster

Anyone having issue with water in their meters

I have seen postings of a couple here and there. Some were condensation that Honda replaced under warranty but others were from submersion and Honda will not warranty those. The pic isn't very clear but that looks like more than just condensation, Honda may not warranty it.

If that display still works and Honda declines the warranty, you can remove about 6 screws and CAREFULLY split it apart and dry it all out and put it back together.

The cluster is vented on the back so if you are submerging your machine, you should plug all the vent holes on the back except one and then vent that one up higher so it doesn't happen again.

Machines 5month old and new cluster on the way machine hasn't been submerged the pic doesn't do it justice I honestly didn't notice it until half way threw day wife said it was soaked that morning I thought it was just dew but new one on the way so just wanted to see if others were seeing this if it was gonna be a common problem thanks for insite

Warranty or at your expense? How much are they?

Warranty didnt look up cost just ordered it

FYI meters retails at $130.00 I just hope the ecm is retaining the milage not the cluster

It's the cluster that retains the mileage on the Pioneer so I'd imagine it is the same on the Talon.

No I do the same presswash after every ride and garage kept
