P1000m3 Water

Ok, I’m reading this thread in 2024 with a ‘24 P1000deluxe5. I’m a little freaked out because we rode our ‘21 P700 through much deeper water than 10 inches quit a few rides over the years. For some reason I thought you could go up to the seat bottoms as the intake was right below the seat? Feeling a little guilty and scared for doing it now.
So the consensus is 10” on the P1000? We ride lots of trails with up to 20” crossings. I guess I need to get my husband to look into a snorkel? Do you buy one and install or is this do it yourself?

If you extend the vent lines to the roof, you can go deeper than that. At the creek in Lafollette Father’s Day weekend this year I got my rear end wet(on accident) and didn’t have any problems. I did start looking at snorkel kits after that. I’ve been buried up to the seat in the creek a couple times and didn’t have any issues. I am going to add a snorkel kit eventually. What’s a good snorkel kit to use with Honda soft doors.

My machine has a snorkel and vent lines extended but my theory is still: I don't wanna go in anything that gets my balls wet for the rest of the day

I don’t like to get that deep either. But @NevadaCC can easily go through 20 “ crossing with A vent line kit. I think I bought this one.

Depends on speed. Without any wake whatsoever to probably close to the front emblem. 25 mph no more 6 "imo

I bought one item and then found out I was banned because someone used my username to sell something or ? Ebay won't fix it or help me in any way. So I am Ebayless now.

Oh, and someone hacked my Facebook and is using it to spam real estate ads and Facebook won't help me get it back. It's a hackers world out there I don't miss Facebook though, tbo....

Is there another way to purchase or will I have to get my son to buy it under his Ebay account?
