As the title suggests, I have to admit I am not stuck...yet. So I have not found a thread that talks about getting stuck in the pioneers. My wife and I have 350 miles on our pioneer and have yet to get stuck. We play alot in it from Drummond Michigan, to Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Walter's Ranch In MO, and the occasional gravel road washed out ditch. There have been some sketchy passes but it always pulls thru. The best part is that it's a stock machine still! I have plans for tires and the high lifter arms and lift. I would like to see some photos of what get these pioneers stuck and hear a little bit about your height, tire choice, and terrain type. Thanks To Everyone In Advance!

When I want to get stuck, we ride down the Meramec River Bank, mud / sand / water is very suctioning, and has no bottom.

Broke my synthetic winch cable this weekend, got a new one on the way from Amazon, hopefully the $20 one is just as good. Those are all crazy cool! It has been dry here lately so there isn't much deep mud locally. While we were in Michigan we met a group of jeeps at the steps on drummond and they had told us they were there 2 weeks prior and had mud/water near some of their hoods. It was dryer for them the weekend we were running. The deepest we came across was our ankles during crossing and the pioneer just goes! I have a friend who has a 1000-3 base and the only thing he has done is 28" executioners and big gun muffler. He has a friend who has the general xp and they challenge each other often and the general gets stuck often while the pioneer is rare. They each take the same trails and 9 times out of 10 the pioneer does it. We think the general struggles because of the tires. I have not had the opportunity to ride with them yet.

Was out with the fam. Went to turn around in what looked like dry cracked mud. Turned out to be a peanut butter field. Took a bulldozer to pull me out after the tractor got stuck. But that files too big to upload here19eceefb260068444b07dc2fc674de5e0270e3b750c7cfec00444329af2a9c46E2d43a8596bafc4571e2d6acaeaf6a58B66505c36657fa0d29467fa19c3e3259489ae9551d81f805455c438769fa80a9

I did the same thing with my 300ex last year. I thought it was cracked dirt and it turned out to be sinking peanut butter mud. Broke 2 straps (ATV Size
) trying to get it out, then switched to a truck sized strap and the 4 wheeler pulling me out could not even keep the front on the ground. So ended up digging it out by hand and placing wood underneath as I could to keep it on top. Got angry with it and revved it like crazy and burned the rings up trying to get out. Finally got it out and it smoked like a freight train ever since. I just redid the top end to it last week. I got to a point of burning half a quart every 5 to 6 hours of riding. Now it is redone with performance parts! :p

I just put a winch on too. But it was too far from anything. And out front of me was another 75 yards of mud. Only from the back we could go. Lol

Had to make sure my buddy with a Popo wasn't in the photo pulling me out.
If you look at my pictures I have a recovery ring hitch on my unit. I used to have a ball on a truck that I had to pull me out when I got stuck until one day the actual hitch tself broke apart from the ball. Ever since then I will never use a ball for recovery purposes. and I also saw somebody posted a video today about not using a ball for recovery purposes. Lol ironic. Just a heads up

Could be worse places to get stuck than on a beach. I didn't realize I had it in 2WD and it sunk to the bottom of a super soft sand bottom. Luckily it was at Busco Beach in North Carolina and there were plenty of friendly and helpful people willing to help! The first picture is before someone tried (and failed) to get me out. The second is after that unsuccessful attempt. The third is the two guys that helped me out big time. I thought I had sunk it.
