what 28's will fit with no lift and don't scrub. Looking for a great mud tire but also can be used for riding or a little hill climbing. I Have been looking at the interco swamp lites . Are these any good. What do you guys recommend?

Thanks

Just pay attention to the load rating when purchasing. Radials will ride better and possibly be tougher but more expensive. Ignore the ply rating since there is no governing body to control it. The truth is in the load capacity.

One tire that comes to mind is the mega mayhem

I really like the Blackwater EVO but it's not a purpose built mud tire

The original bighorn tires are pretty good

Have you seen the interco swamp lites? You can see them here on my friends Viking. Do you know if they work

Those swamp lites will work good. Not sure if thy fit the bill for a great mud tire but I'm sure they a great all around tire.

I had Blackwater Evos on my 700 and love them so much that I'll get them again.

28s should fit no problem, I've seen several people use Swamp Lites on a sxs and liked them. I was looking at Outlaw MST for 28s or Motoclaws.

Motoclaws on top, MST on the bottom

Wow thanks. I like the motoclaws. They look sweet.
There are a few guys on the Commander forum that have put them through some crap and they haven't had any problems. I will mostly get some Motoclaws for my all around tires and Interco Interforce in 30s for the muddy season.

Yes it will work but you will be about 1 inch wider than OEM width of 62.9" using 5+2 offset.

I have one rim an STI HD3 coming with the 6+1 offset to test, it should bring me down 1" to about 61.5~62" wide, provided it clears everything up front lock to lock (A-Arms etc.). I will have that rim on Tuesday 1/5/16 to test on the hub and will post pics to show the clearance or lack there of, if it fits I'm going with 6+1 all the way around to try and fit in 60" gates out West like in Utah Paiute trail system.

The guys running 4+3 offset are 66" wide in the front, 65" in the rear as measured by a member on here for me. That's what I know for now.

In your link above those rims are $101 each through Amazon, on RMATV they are $88 each for the black machined only, matte black they were $101 as well both free shipping. The RMATV I didn't see the color options though they just might have them.

Swamplites are gonna wear quick on this heavy of machine if you hit much blacktop. I went with 28" Tensor Regulators....DOT and radial both.

The Motoclaws are radial 8 ply tires and DOT approved.

My vote would be these over the swamp lites, they may be a little more expensive but they will last longer in my opinion on a side by side.

Has anyone tested the motoclaws (28's) to see if they fit?

Well I feel nervous now that I might not have got the right tires. I ordered the Sedona rockabilly's in 28x10x14 last week but didn't even think about looking at the load rating which only says 536lbs on those tires...you know what they say about "assume"! This is the first sxs for me and didn't know there was that kind of difference in the tires. Do you guys think I will ok?

I've got 27x11x14 swamplites on my teryx and never had a problem with my tires.Good in mud and fine on gravel roads and in pasture.I've got 1300 miles on mine or so and are still brand new.I don't burn doughnuts on gravel roads all day or anything but that's mostly mountain riding with lots of shale and muskeg.
