Its great , isn't it ? It took me awhile to remove mine , been off for 2 yrs now and isn't going back on my machine unless I sell it !
Yeah, it is. Esp considering I went back up to the second step on the preload to help offset any possible instability I might encounter. So I can get better still.

About 15 minutes into today's ride...and that sway bar ain't going back on EVER! Noticably improved ride.

Don't know of anyone that hooked it back up after disconnecting it. How hard was it to get out? Remove the wheel?

Not hard if you have power tools. I say that because the hex in the link rounded when i tried to do it by hand, so I hit the nut with my 3/8 air impact.
I removed the right wheel to get the bar out just cause that's where I was.

More crap showing up and no time to put it on.

Shocks Rear

Been thinking of rearranging inside the box, just carrying the helmets in the trailer and making more room. The length of the winch cables limit the placement of the power box so thinking of running them directly to the second battery under the seat, shorter run anyway. That'll allow me to move the power box wherever I want and make better use of the space. Should find something else to put in there, would hate to leave it half empty. Hmmm...:D

Use Honda oil, or an oil that meets exactly the requirements stated in the owners manual. Automotive synthetics do not meet the standards and do not have the additives needed for our relatively low tech engines. I have had the oil discussion ad nauseam with my Honda Rep, and have been told repeatedly that there is no better oil. It is tested per application for literally 1000's of hours. Honda's oils are designed specifically for the applications they are recommended for. So if you want to experiment with your $6000 engine- go ahead, but if it's under warranty, and the engine has a lubrication related failure... guess who's gonna pay for it! Try to use the Honda oil filters as well- it's one of the first questions we get asked if an engine fails under warranty. Just my 2 cents worth....;)

Sounds like a question for our in house oil specialists @joeymt33 or @KYhillbilly . If you change the oil at recommended intervals then the Honda oil is just fine. If you ever go too long, engine consistently running at high RPM's or get low oil level(all slightly abusing) then go with synthetic, IMO. I went with Royal Purple Max Cycle on the second service, I use RP in every engine I own.

Added the Tusk rear panel. Had to remove my gun racks and relocate my license plate. Also putting the underseat heat and sound barrier back in. For those with the rear panel, how is it in the summer? I really want it for dust, but not if we are going to burn up.

I have the tusk rear panel and cuts down the dust considerably. I don’t notice any extra heat with it on.
