Nope, rode motorcycles with the wife today, both had the day off. Friend of mine has been riding to work for 2 weeks now, roads are bare, snow is almost totally gone. I was snowmobiling out hunting bison 3 weeks ago, would have been better off with the Pioneer. Yukon is pretty tough to beat in my eyes, and I was raised in Cape Breton ;)
Haha, Cape Breton’ers are everywhere. :) It was Cape Breton’ers and Newfoundlanders that settlers the west. Haha
I know a lot of guys from the Cape that are out west or up north. I have a daughter in Cold Lake.
Did you get your Bison. Pictures please. :)
That’s another place I want to see before I kick it.
If you’re from Cape Breton, you have to be a great person. :)
My camp is in Judique. West side. Around Port Hood.
No gold in Cape Breton. :)
Have a great spring and summer.

Installed the Walker Evans shocks and a new 31” Nilight single row led light bar $66 on amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019XT82MQ/?tag=sxsweb24-20

The WE installed very easily. 100% bolt on application. Going turkey hunting on Wednesday so I will get to test them out then.

I spent a lot of time debating which light bar set up I wanted to go with, and ultimately decided on a single row mounted right under the front of the roof. In my opinion this was a cleaner look thank bolting on top of the roof, and less likely to get beat up while trail riding. Below is a pic of led headlights by themselves, and then with the light bar...the picture doesn’t do it justice!! This thing is super bright!! My wife told me I’m crazy haha... I just like to see where I’m going.

Like the trailer. That aluminum is pricey stuff. I lucked in to a similar bargain two years back. My former boss had his quad stolen. They left the trailer, which I bought for $400. I added the front tray for two gas cans or one 20 lb propane bottle.

Handy for camp gear or wheeling a moose out.

Yeah that's a good-looking trailer! How does it ride? I quite often have kids riding in the ATV trailers, so I was thinking about coming up with some kind of suspension. Here's a picture of the lid that came with my trailer.

About 15 years ago a neighbor gave me two 1987 Polaris Trail Boss ATVs that were non-running and garbage in his opinion. Using parts from both of them, I was able to get one of them running, well ......... sort of running. I had it for about 2 years and it was a constant pain in my butt!!! This experience is why I have never bought Polaris anything again. I sold the one that I got running and decided to take the parts four-wheeler and build a couple trailers out of it. I wanted one passenger trailer for hauling kids and one little dump trailer for yard work. So these are what I came up with using mostly stuff I had laying around the farm. 15 years later, they're still going strong and I have never had an issue with either one of them even though I often overload them. They definitely need cleaned up and repainted but I have to say they have exceeded my expectations. Especially the passenger trailer built out of the rear end of the ATV. We have used that thing almost non-stop since it was built. It has full suspension just like an ATV. Everyone who rides on it is blown away at how stable and smooth it rides, it is crazy. We have hauled everything from 6 kids to a couple Fat Grandpa's and the ride normally seems to be smoother than the four-wheeler pulling it. The one downfall is, it's heavy and it has a solid axle. I just use non aggressive tires and it tows fine. So surprise!!!.......... it turns out Polaris is actually good for something!! Haha!!

Haha. It can rain. But it’s so beautiful up off the highway. Like going back in time. St Margaret of Scotland, church on top of RiverDenis man. There since 1780’s. Still a mass in the winter when all the snowmobile guys come from all over. Sometimes 400 sleds , at a tiny little church. :)
And Fiddle capital of Nova Scotia. :)

It’s pouring rain her this morning. :) Going to rain all day.
Well please hang on to it, I’m on the dozer cutting a driveway and I don’t need anymore moisture in the dirt. There’s already been two areas I’ve had to leave till later.

View attachment 120287 Anybody need a trail chipper.
My brother works at the container terminal and just sent me this.
It would make a trail out of woods. :)

Those are cool. Utility companies use them to maintain their easements. But they only work on brush and saplings. You couldn’t just create a trail out of the woods with it. You’d need a dozer.

They use them up here on the side of the highway. But they cut everything. Trees included. :)
