Took delivery yesterday of my 520, and completed my first mod -- OEM roof. Honda A-Arm Guards and SATV PS are standing by in the garage with more on the shopping list. This forum is awesome, but you guys are expensive company to keep around.

Congrats and welcome from Ky! You are well on your way with the mods. While mod advice on the forum is free, actual cost of following it… is about the same cost as buying another P5! 😂😂…

Going to pressure-wash mine tonight. Need to get the farm land "mud season" residue off it so it can look pretty on the trailer on the way to the cabin this week-end. Then going to see if I can rig-up something quick to be able to use it for log skidding duty at the cabin property because my 7 year old figured out what I should do with all the down trees - build him a log fort!

Windshield restoration update.
How to restore your poly windshield.
Short version don't do what I did.
Longer version starting with around 800 grit sandpaper and working up through 5000 grit in several steps. Then moving on to three different polishing compounds. Each step more promising than the last until the last step of a final rinse and it looks decent, until it starts to dry and looks like this.

So you do it all, over and over and over, untill that saying about insanity comes to mind, and you quit. Then you see that scrap piece of poly and decide to try and make a half windshield out of it. You have no idea what you are doing but it comes out like this

And you say that will do for now.
I still have a couple ideas to try so I haven't completely given up but that will be another time.

Well, plans got changed on me, so no pressure was last night. But I did get something "thrown together" for my log skidding plans. I cam up with this in about 35 minutes using scrap steel I had laying around that also already had holes in it to bolt together:

Took the machine out for a good long ride today. Wanted to put it through its paces to make sure it's ready for the TO. Ran a full tank through it in sand, chop, water holes, a lot of tight stuff and speed runs. Got it up to 41 on the speedo and held that for a good 2 or 3 miles. Other than shining up the nerfs, it's ready.

New Toolbox Day! (I.E: finally got around to installing my x-mas present)
PXL 20220529 215519526MP

It doesn't stick out behind as much as it looks from here, its less than an inch past the rear bumper. Wanted it to be able to open the lid all the way without hitting the ROPS.
Also, finally got around to putting on the TriggerShield I've had laying around for months...

Long as I had the seats out, figured I might as well check out the airfi... OMG!

Mud is good for it right? makes it look younger....

Oh hey, they're normally yellow!

I know exactly when this happened too, was at my buddy's last summer for a ride, it was so dusty. That, plus the oil from the filter turned it into mud inside there, lol. I have everything I need to extend the vent lines and make a snorkle, just havn't had time.

Tried washing it out, but holy crap, that is a filthy mess. Still going to try an clean it out best as I can for a backup.
How come the Store doesn't have air filters?
