Hauled stuff to work in the garden. Also another driving lesson for the granddaughter. Pictured is map of the cross country running trail we made for her. Later in the year it will be part of the sled dog training trails. the whole trail when we go north, then make the loop around the tree row next to the pond, then back around the hay field and back south to the road is .85 miles. If she just runs the loops without the south end 4 times around is exactly 5k like they race.

Garmin tread base edition?
I just got one, not sure I know what I’m doing with it.
I was using a tablet system and it seams very different, I need to adjust my brain.

I assume mounting it in the SxS is the B vehicle, sled is A?
How do you like it?

I just got the overlander last week. a garmin refurbished so saved a lot off of a new one. I have lots of garmin devices. This one will also interface with my inreach so will be much easier to send messages when I am out of cell service. I just installed the Michigan maps from VVMapping. They look like a nice addition. Unlike many other garmin devices this one is android based so a little different to use. Mapping seems very accurate so far. Still want to compare it to our trimble we use for laying out the corn maze. I know it isn't that accurate but a lot cheaper.

Take a look at VV maps for Garmin.

Went for a ride this afternoon, got sick of not having side mirrors because of the soft doors.... so I make some modifications to the mirror mounts and flipped my off road light brackets around since I don't have a set to install yet. And now I have 3 mirrors again!

Pics don't do justice for the Canadian wildfire smoke we are getting currently... saw a small black bear today too in the middle of the trail trail. Took me a second to get a pic and he started moving on already. Sorry to photo bomb.

The KFI rear bumper for the 520 requires a longer hitch draw bar to clear, so bought that.

Then, since no winch, another attachment point. Seems I've embraced the blue . . .

Always something . . . :)
I found that out as well with that bumper... it's the only thing I dislike about it too. But I had a HF cheap adjustable height hitch I used for moving trailers around with the atv that is now on P520 duty.

Didn't do a lot with the P500 today. Most of the spare time was spent mowing some of the trails that haven't been trimmed yet this year. After mowing took a quick ride on the trail to see how much more brush trimming I need to do. Tomorrow hope to get the swamp trail mowed since it is dry enough to get across with the 4wd tractor.

No picture this time. Continued mowing the trails and trimmed brush with the P500 and pole chainsaw till I broke the end of the pole and had to come to the shop and shorten the pole 3 inches. Working again but only 9ft 9inches instead of a 10 foot pole. By the time I had it fixed it was 5pm and very hot with a thunderstorm close by so no more trimming till tomorrow.

am I the only one who is doing anything with a P500? The last few days no one else is posting anything. I have come to the conclusion they are either sleeping and the P5 is just parked in the shed or they are using it so many hours they have no time for posting.
🤔

Today since it was our fifty first wedding anniversary I helped my wife weed the garden. That is how we party on our anniversary. Then it started to rain so I went in the barn and mounted a box and jerry can on the back rack. So far it has a brush lopper, battery sawsall with a 12 inch pruning blade, battery air compressor, Slime, and a few tools in it. After the rain I took it back to the pond to take a few pictures.

I've got plenty of work to do on mine, there have been just too many ducks the last couple of weeks. Had time today, but I slept late and then stayed in the air-conditioning most of the day. Congratulations on 51 our 23rd will be on Tuesday.

I hate it when my dang pole is too long.

She wishes I had that problem

I'm lucky enough to be on the lake with family for the week, so my P5s are gathering dust. Soon enough though, soon enough...

Congrats on your anniversary!
