I guess if it is designed right, it will deflect most of the air over the rider and that's all I'm looking for. In summer weather, I don't really want to be looking through a reflective full windshield. The majority of accessories come from the U.S. and with our Canadian dollar we pay way more for everything Honda. The wind deflector is about $270 including taxes here. I really appreciate feed back from those who actually have the 4 inch deflector before I shell out so much for a plastic strip. Thanks

I use the half windshield from UTV Windshields and Accessories. It deflects the wind really well and I don't notice the rear vortex problem.
Just looking at the pictures of them online compared to Honda's, it looks to be a little taller.

Turned over 2000 miles last night. Hoping to finish the snorkel and get the new exhaust on soon!!!

Can you tell what changes you found from new to your current mileage? Ride, shifting, noise etc?

No difference really. The rear brakes squeal and it's annoying. Haven't been able to fix that. I've been noticing a ticking noise for a while. Yesterday I removed the rear fenders and rack and then a couple of the heat shields. Fired it up and it sounds perfectly normal. So the ticking is somewhere in the heat shields. I'm sure it shifts smoother than it did when new. Been a great machine overall.

Stopped and turned the machine off after a long top speed run last weekend. The wife asked what all that popping noise was...lol. These heat shields do make a lot of noise.

Yep.... I dropped the buggy off today at my favorite local stainless exhaust shop to get my new pipe on. He said I can probably get away with leaving one of them off since the cat will be gone. The cat gets super hot and that's why it has its own shield. Can't wait to get it back! They have always done a really good job for me in the past.

It sounds good. It's not really any louder but that's ok. I didn't want it loud. It definitely has a deeper tone, which I like. Less rattles from the exhaust. Noticeable improvement in throttle response. I'm happy. $60 total.

I couldn't find the exact one I got tonight as it is discontinued (closed out at $15). This thing should work well for storing everything for a camping trip.
Anyway, spent the day prepping the P500 for my upcoming Pdog shoot. I green slimed the tires. The thistles out there are huge.
