New grill badge/bumper, think I will call it Ferdinand now(will see how many are old enough to figure out why). Found this laying around at our camp and couldn't resist setting it on the front and taking a picture of it.
I think I would leave it installed, looks great!

Now you need to get those hanging balls that people put on the rear hitch of their trucks and you will have a real bull there.

Picked up some parts today that I had Line X'd. New front skid plate, both wheel well protectors and rear cover for second battery.
He did it right this time, they match the toolbox. Much better protected and more rigid now. Stuff goes on at 175 deg. and between 3k and 4k psi. That should stick! ;)
I have had the Line X on mine now for over 2 years an I can tell you it's bullet proof, easy to clean and no scratches and looks nice also.

I do look at the person and as profiling goes it speaks volumes abut that person. The manufacture of those said one day "lets build something that only stupid people will buy" and they made millions of dollars.

The guy who briefed me on my P5 at the dealer told me to wash the foam element in gasoline and re-oil and reuse it.

Better to replace?

Joe
I get a bucket of really hot water and use one of those cascade platinum dishwasher tabs and let it soak for about 10-15 minutes and it comes out looking like new. Dry it off and re-oil it. I have 2 so I can swap out during my oil changes.

Words of wisdom: Please carry a fire extinguisher at all times!

Without going into too much detail, Saturday I was pulling my rough cut mower and cutting down a field when I noticed smoke. Brown grass had collected between the skid plate and the engine and ignited. I had two water bottles with me and before I could do anything, the grass underneath was on fire. I had stopped the engine and left it in gear so when I tried to push it out of the way, it would not move. Tried to turn it on and put in neutral, but the wires were toast by then. My house was a good half mile away. My wife was with me so we grabbed the phones out of the glovebox, grabbed my tool bag and ran while calling 911. It took less than a minute for the plastic and tires to be on fire.

I did manage to disconnect and move the mower away before we ran. It suffered minor damage.

On another note, my new 700-4 Deluxe will be delivered tomorrow.

If anyone is near Clarksville, TN, I have two Strongmade bumpers and a box which can probably be salvaged. Sell real cheap! Rollcage and wheels might be salvageable.. no idea about the engine or transmission.

Go ahead and get a roll cage bag mount for the fire extinguisher. So it will be handy and not a projectile in case of a rollover. ( i learned by experience)

Enjoy it! I've missed the past 4 months with my son and he will be three in July. Everyday we talk he talks to me better and better. I can't wait to get back to them. I did get to skip potty training though!

Congradulations, and hope that Mother and Daughter are both healthy. One of my most vivid memories Is holding my newborn daughter for the first time. A couple of suggestions for down the road, (worked for me) when she reaches dating age. Always be cleaning one of your guns when the guy comes by to pick her up. When you meet him, ask to see his drivers license, look him in the eye, and say "I know where you live, have her home by xx o'clock." Even though I embarrassed the crap out of her, she married well.:D
