I used a 2012 Ram Mega Cab Dually with a Cummins. That thing would roll on down the road and never downshift going up a hill.It would get 11 mpg loaded @ 72mph.

Don't know about a feather, but another 3500 lbs would defiantly weigh in, just saying my GM 14 327 cubic inch small block would pull in cruse control. The Yota will not and has more hp and torque???????
I actually liked my 08 better than my 14. Not sure why. They both had the 5.3L 327.
That 5.3 has been a pretty good motor for the most part. After buying my 6.7 diesel I may never go back to gas though.

Yea, I know, just had some real bad experiences with diesel in the past, the possibility getting gelled up on the side of the road countless times just doesn't trip my trigger any more. The newer rigs must have tank, fuel line heaters, more to go wrong! I would buy a Ford 1 ton with a 460 gasser single rear wheel, that way you won't throw a rock through your camper, if you have been off road and not checked your tires and got a rock stuck in-between the dually's, if I was going to pull a heavy load occasionally. Whisper quiet and no smoke. Other wise I would buy a semi with brakes large enough to stop if the camper brakes failed.

112k on mine so far. Not saying it will never happen because I’m sure at some point it will but nothing of any consequence so far... good mud flap would stop it if that’s your concern though.

Check your mud flaps to! Once you have been bit, it's hard to stick your hand back out. On to better and bigger things, I think mud flaps will be great a mulberry this coming week end, wish I had some!

Pulled the enclosed for a minute with my '07 Cummins. It was a deleted and programmed 6.7. That thing was fast and strong as a mule. Got rid of it at 240,000 miles to get the MegaCab. This thing would fly even with the gooseneck loaded.

Here's a good one for you guys. My neighbor was looking at trading his 15 f350 for a ram 3500. He loves my truck. He calls me up saying it rides just as good as mine. I said no way leaf springs compare to a coil over. He brings it by for me to see. Sure enough it has coil overs. I know ram 1 tons have leafs. Says 3500 on the door. ... build sheet says 2500 lol. Omg had the wrong badge! Brand new, same gvwr in the door as 2500. He took it back and showed the dealer. They were shocked! Lol.

Spend a 120 hours a week in it earning, it will pay for itself in 9 months. In America the only thing holding you back is your own ambition. You can make 18k or 180k a year all up to you.

Next time your plumber gives you a quote, remember this, HA!
A plumber you say, someone to clean up your own s***. I would have to be bed ridden first, but I suppose there are times when it's cheaper to pay than do it yourself in an emergency. Still, I wouldn't barter for a man's worth if unwilling to do it myself.

On paper you can only "drive" 11 hrs a day, but OTR you are sleeping in your truck too, that's part of the 120 hrs. Hit it hard for 2 weeks take 2 weeks off, or run steady for 9 months take off the other 3 months. All up to you what works, when they pay extra I'll run 20k miles in a month, when industry isn't backed up they drop prices per mile to deliver. Thanks to modern technology if they aren't paying decent we just quit self dispatching , yards get full they call us out of desperation. Then you get paid what you need not what they offer.
