On paper you can only "drive" 11 hrs a day, but OTR you are sleeping in your truck too, that's part of the 120 hrs. Hit it hard for 2 weeks take 2 weeks off, or run steady for 9 months take off the other 3 months. All up to you what works, when they pay extra I'll run 20k miles in a month, when industry isn't backed up they drop prices per mile to deliver. Thanks to modern technology if they aren't paying decent we just quit self dispatching , yards get full they call us out of desperation. Then you get paid what you need not what they offer.
I need to get a diesel then! Are you a hot shoter? with a 1 ton?

Spend a 120 hours a week in it earning, it will pay for itself in 9 months. In America the only thing holding you back is your own ambition. You can make 18k or 180k a year all up to you.

I look at it this way. I could drive across country and back free of charge. But to miss out on seeing my little kids every day theres no figure, nobody has that coin!

RV transporter, manufacturing to dealerships. I ran an F450, same as F350 except commercial axles, brakes, wheels, and tires. Also turns 11ft smaller diameter than F350 due to commercial front end that's 9" wider with 45 degree steering not 36 like the orhers.

Yeah, what I do is ideal for a retirement gig. Not so much if trying to raise a family. But still 70% of my running I am home every night. But when they call needing a CDL load delivered to west coast, I'll take that $3600 for 6 days driving everytime.

But the key is getting to choose when, where, and how often you go. I would never kill myself working for a company that would replace me next week without a second thought.

Thats probably as good as it gets. You got an l.e. now too. What's next?
Well when Honda gets off thier laurels and kicks out the sport line up gotta choose between 3 different models. There will be two 2 seaters and a 4 seater about 6 months after the first 2 come out. All depends on the wheelbase and turning radius. I have no need for something that can hammer sand whoops at 60mph like a Maverick X3 (& Honda has one in R&D) but the suspension still has its advantage as long as its maneuverable in TN trails. But the other model will have only slightly less travel, maybe even width for terrain like east of the Mississippi river. And for the power junkie forget the little mods, just have a Honda Signature Accessories turbo installed by dealership. Personally if it has near 100HP as is, I'll take that reliable torque all day long.

Are you deleted?
Nope, Nevada like to look at us real hard for removing emissions. I'll leave mine on for a $4500 fine and impounded vehicle.

That long wheelbase sure is great on hillclimbs. Going to be interesting for sure.

Until your holding up the line making a 12 point turn on a switchback with an off road limo.

A plumber you say, someone to clean up your own s***. I would have to be bed ridden first, but I suppose there are times when it's cheaper to pay than do it yourself in an emergency. Still, I wouldn't barter for a man's worth if unwilling to do it myself.
Agreed! I have painted instructions/plans on top of wood floors for the do it your selfers, they were saving some bucks on labor and I don't blame them for that, just don't go to a Box store to get your supplies and the recommendations go on. Most of the people I help say thats, it's the first time and last they will plumb a house, it's hard work! Tools are the expensive situation. I respect the do it your sellers.

Don't know about a feather, but another 3500 lbs would defiantly weigh in, just saying my GM 14 327 cubic inch small block would pull in cruse control. The Yota will not and has more hp and torque???????

That’s all trans and gearing issue there.
