Compare that bottle to this more older gin bottle base that does back to around the late 1700's. I found it near an early settlement in Pensacola. The light shining through is to show the air bubbles caught in the hand blown glass. Most everybody else's ancient trash is my treasure.

I got this from a competition bbq guy

Ribs with your favorite rub...

Smoke at 225 for 3 hours (Hickory or Mesquite for a strong smoke flavor, apple for a light smoke flavor)
make a tray of foil that the ribs will fit into
pour 1/8" of apple juice into the tray
set the ribs in the tray, fold the foil over and seal it
Leave in the smoker/bbq for 2 hours at 225

If you like sauce, remove the foil, put the sauce on, drop the temp to 160 for 1 hour

If you don't want sauce, remove the foil, drop the temp to 160 for 30 minutes

Jerry L'quyer(?) is an awesome guy. He's the Skottle's creator. I camped with him a few times at the expo and other overland events.

Bird Boobs marinated in Stubbs BBQ sauce and Mae Ploy sweet chili sauce. Yellow squash w/ oil and Montreal steak seasoning. MMMM.
Dang that was delicious! I was planning on bringing my grill with me out west but I'm assuming there will be fire bans in effect everywhere. I may have to pick up a Skottle along the way.
