Look on market place, there was a traeger for free in my area the owners couldn't move with it. It was posted Friday it's gone.

I have owned 2 Traegers, 1 Green Mountain Grill, and now a Yoder.

First Traeger was the old one and fire got back up into the pellet hopper and burned it up.

Next GMG. Designed better, and no hopper fires, but I like cooking whole chickens and I did not like the way it cooked them.

Back to Traeger. Ran it for a few years. Keep getting the LER warning and threw parts at it. New computer, induction fan, etc. Finally got tired of it being so unreliable.

I've got a Yoder now and won't be going back to a Traeger. It is so much heavier. The lid probably weighs more than my entire body on the traeger. It holds heat better due to the thicker metal it seems. Yoder was pricey but I have several friends that have had them for a long time and nobody regrets it.

I started with a Green Mountain Grill, had it for about 8 years. Now I have a Recteq, for 3 years. The Recteq components are much heavier duty. Drove up to their headquarters in Augusta, GA, during one of their scratch and dent sales. Went home with 2 off them.

Thinking about replacing home my pellet grill. I have had this Treager for at least 5 years, and have used it a LOT!!!
Wonder what everyone else has and there likes and dislikes.
I need to tear into it and see if it's worth rebuilding, or just replace it.
🤔

With your new toy it’s time to customize it! Lol

Rectec makes some nice grills. They were definitely in the running for me. Yoder is built a couple hours away which really swayed me.
