I have owned 2 Traegers, 1 Green Mountain Grill, and now a Yoder.
First Traeger was the old one and fire got back up into the pellet hopper and burned it up.
Next GMG. Designed better, and no hopper fires, but I like cooking whole chickens and I did not like the way it cooked them.
Back to Traeger. Ran it for a few years. Keep getting the LER warning and threw parts at it. New computer, induction fan, etc. Finally got tired of it being so unreliable.
I've got a Yoder now and won't be going back to a Traeger. It is so much heavier. The lid probably weighs more than my entire body on the traeger. It holds heat better due to the thicker metal it seems. Yoder was pricey but I have several friends that have had them for a long time and nobody regrets it.
