Where are you storing your helmets

Usually we don't use helmets but there are some situations where it's good idea to protect what brain I have left. For those who use helmets occasionally where are you storing them onboard so they don't get beat to death? My bed is pretty full. We have the Axel Grit D.O.T. helmets so they're a bit bigger than turtle shell type helmets.

I have room in the box but I rarely carry mine. Put them in helmet bags to keep them from getting scratched up.

On my head - if they get scratched - probably saved me a headache

If they aren’t in the top of the closet in a helmet bag, they are in the back of the Pioneer in the helmet bag or on our head.

If I bring them on a ride, on my head. I came up to a motorcycle fatality (head injury), his helmet was strapped on the back of his bike. I never forgot how dumb that looked.

Or leave it at home in a helmet bag.

I've seen a few use bungee netting used up against the roof in Pioneer 1000s to hold helmets up against the roof. Not sure that's a viable option in a 2 seat Talon.

I ended up ordering a couple of padded bags that others use for tactical helmets. Lightweight, pretty cheap, and fit well. They have a couple of straps that I can attach to the spare tire rack. Should do what I need them to do.
