I seen the posts for the p500, but checking thoughts for 700-2. I was thinking 3000-3500. Not intended for pulling rig out of mud as not what I bought her for. Dragging deer up mountain side , or the occasional logs needing to be moved that I can't drag with hitch. Thoughts? Looking at xtreme or the viper max. Owned warn , superwinchs and the cheap stuff on ATv years ago , no problems with any. So not going to buy warn

MD: I put a Superwinch 3500 on my P5. I didn't plan on getting stuck in the mud either. I had to do a pull out of deep snow. The 3500 was just enough. If your P7 weighs more than 1,200 lbs I'd get a 4,500 lbs winch. Afew $$ more now. No headaches later.
My $0.02

  1. Do not currently own
I was trail riding a week ago and got suck on a stump, took me winching to a tree, another guy winching to me, a shovel, a broken axle, and a valve stem getting pulled out. Both of us had Superwinch 45's. Stump caught on of the holes in the skid plate.

Plan for the worst. 4500 all the way.
