There is approximately 17" between the seats and the extender. I have a 48 aquart rubbermaid that fits with room to spare. I apologize for the terrible picture.

Been playing with hi-lift jack placement and think I found the spot, raised my carrier up a out 6" from the bed. And will shorten the hilift about 6". Ive never jacked anything that high and I guess I'd only lose about 4" of useable length when using it as a winch.

I've been wanting a spare tire carrier with additional fuel can storage. You should be able to sell as many of these as you have the 1000's!
