Anyone with a 1000-5 understands the need for more storage when the rear seats are up. It attaches to the cage with 4-bolt clamps and swings open to use the dump bed. Also removes in seconds for those short toy hauler garages utilizing 4 quick release pins.

Dirt Road Fab builds these to order with several variations. Pricing is as follows.

$525 Gloss black rack
$575 Gloss black rack with spare tire mount
$625 Gloss black rack with spare and fuel can mounts

Fuel cans and mounts are extra.

-Yes those cans will work fine, I build them to fit whatever size cans you would like.

-Those are the same mounts I have been using.

-They are powdercoated.

I wish I could put something like this on my 1000-3. I understand I can't because I don't have the rear ROPS. What if someone fabbed up some shorty ROPS to the rear mounting points? Why do I need something like this when I have the whole bed for storage? Coolness factor is high.

Why. Because the bed is for the furry friends that like to come along. You still need a place for your gas and cooler and what not. I am sure it's possible to make something that Will work. Dirt-roadfab can build almost anything

I don't have access to a 1000-3 but have been thinking about the options on it as well. I am jealous of the bed space you have but sure love the seats.

I almost always travel solo. I like when stuff has a secure place and is as good looking as that is!

My guess is, it would have to be integrated with the stock bumper location for lateral support.
