Thanks for the replys helps a lot. So does anybody know the difference in the 2016 white and the 2021 white? Plastics for 2021 are 1,000 while 2016 are about 400

From what I know, the LE panels are actually painted vs the deluxe panels are actually colored plastic. I don't know much about the 2021 panels but the if they are the LE then that's what makes them the higher price. Here is the picture of my rig after changing to the 2016 Metallic Silver you talked about earlier. It was about $300 in 2018 but I like it alot better then the yellow it came with.

Thanks, yeah I believe I will go with the 2016 metallic silver. The reason the 2021 white is so expensive is each rear door panel is $260 not sure if they are just on back order maybe or what the cause of such a steep price is.

I'm a big fan of the grays, blacks and similar colors. That's sharp.

I'll be honest, that it wasn't hard at all because my handy wife got tired of me "looking for time to do it". So when I got home one afternoon she had it 3/4 taken apart. The hardest part is there are 4 screws by the headlights that need to be removed and reinstalled so you have to lay on your back, but we were able to accomplish it without taking the front bumper or dash off. I know alot of people have complained how big a pain it was, but for at least the re install it was pretty easy and definitely an upgrade over the yellow.

Depends on your definition of 'trouble'. I removed it *twice* in one weekend.

Remove the front bumper: One larger flange bolt on either side at the top, two smaller flange bolts on the bottom on either side and one Allen head (4mm) on either side. Then pull it straight out.

Remove the fender flares (IIRC, ~10 of those push pins, including several underneath in the wheel well as well as at least three in/above where the door and ROPS attach, per side). This requires you to remove the front doors, which are held on by two bolts in each of the two hinges per door (10mm socket). Be careful with those bolts - they round off easily, so use hand tools. I got them out (two required me to use Vise-Grips), and I replaced them with grade 10.9 flange bolts (roughly equivalent of Grade 8 SAE bolts) of the same size.

Front clip: Remove the air filter box (one push pin in back) and stick a clean rag or something in the air intake tube so you don't drop anything down there. Remove the battery and unplug any/all clips that are holding the wiring harness and other electrical under the hood area (including relays, ignition, etc.) and push it all up under the dash. Most of that stuff is in the upper right area near the OEM battery. Loosen the top clamp holding the air intake tube (underneath) to the front clip (6mm). Also underneath on each side - remove the bolt near the headlight that secures the front clip to the bracket (10mm I think). Remove the two bolts (4mm Allen) up by the far corners of the clip near the ROPS. Remove the 6 push pins at the top (three on each side near each Allen bolt). Remove the 4 hex flange bolts (10mm) on the top side (two right up front near the tool kit, one @ the bottom of the OEM battery tray and one right in front of the aux battery tray). That *should* be everything that's securing the front clip to the bike. When you are pulling it off, just be patient and rock it front to back as you're taking it off.

This video (not mine) does an OK job of walking you through removing the front clip:

Only two, one on each side (by the headlight assembly):

I don't remember them being to big of a pain. The 4 that I had trouble with were #19 in the parts diagram that attach the fender to the grill. Then again we left most everything on including the bumper and grill on, and just took the fender off to change color.

I would think that $260 would be the entire door unit. Colored panel should be $85 ish each, used to be $35. But camo door panels alone are over $450 each.

Here is the White panels parts list with part# and 2016 prices.

I didn't replace 2 of the #19 because they were so aggravating to get out. It wasn't worth the hassle to reinstall them.

LMFAO! You Sould have bought my very limited olive green panels that were $399 ea side back in 16’ fast forward to now, and see what they are if they were available  Im guessing those matt grays might be getting into the same boat? People been wanting that green and cant get them and there was no info about why they only made less than a dozen till a few yrs later, typical Honda right?. Id say if u want them, better open the billfold and get em! Food for thought.

Sincerely the so called Negative Green Troll

That's a self-tapping screw. Do those four screws hold the colored plastic front to the black front grille?

I didn't have to remove those to remove the front clip from the bike. Then again, removed the front bumper and removed the entire front end as one piece (pic below). Sounds like what I did was far easier than trying to R&R those #19 self-tappers.
