Well Ford is apparently going head to head with RAM Power Wagon models with the new Tremor package.

Can't wait to see the MEMES on this.....

Every time the new Super Duty gets near the Power Wagon it Tremors.

LOL

I saw the video too. The truck looks good for me because it looks like the way I would set one up. My truck has 35s and a mild lift and there could be warranty issues if that ever arose. To buy one purposely built like that would be pretty cool. It’s not a super off-roader but it’s darn good looking off road package compared to the FX4 which isn’t much.

Well yeah, FX4 is stickers, skid plates, and Rancho shocks. That's it. :p

Really good looking truck. I wouldn't mind seeing something similar in an F150. I don't need a raptor but I'd like another leveled F150 with bigger tires

If you go the the “build your own” the 250 and 150 are almost identical price if you keep the trim level the same and both have gas engines. It’s still probably cheaper to buy the Tremer badges and do the upgrades your self. I’ll consider it when it’s time for another truck. It would be nice to almost double the payload capacity and lose this crappy 5.5’ bed. I should have gotten the 6.5’ bed.

I have a 2016 F350 FX4.

It’s a great truck. It does wonders with my toy hauler. It’s an “OK” hunting rig. It does what HD trucks do well.

At almost 9000 lbs it is not a off road rig, and neither is that latest iteration of Super Duty.

My truck can splash thru puddles and well as my Ford Taurus.

I mean that’s cool and all.. but why? Who really seriously off-roads enough in a 60-70k truck to even warrant this s***?

Ps.. that power wagon is still a good looking truck.

Sounds like just a wheel and tire package. Agree with @joeymt33 - exactly the way I would set up a truck (maybe not black wheels as I like the "blue jeans" body), but probably cheaper to do aftermarket.

As far as warranty goes, I think it just depends on your dealership. I know a lot of dealers that will put an aftermarket lift/level with wheel/tire package on a new truck. When I asked about it effecting my warranty, they told me it wasn't a problem (2 inch Puck up front and 35s), but again my dealer will do a 6 inch lift on a brand new truck so take that for what it's worth.

I like the truck though. If you need more payload in a 4wd and still need some off-road capability it looks like a good option on paper. Especially since you can get it in multiple trim levels. If its a 3-5k package. That’s reasonable you’ll drop that much in parts and pieces plus labor/time to install. On top of that it’s all covered under warranty.

I'm offended by the cost of new pickups.

I like the package, but I'm guessing a $6k to $8k option on a $60k truck.

Been shopping for a new 3/4-ton 4x4 with a long bed and the Rams are about $5k cheaper on the lot with more options than the Fords.

On my 2014 Ram, I added Bilstein 5100 lifted shocks up front which added 2.8", then did a 1.5" lift in the rear with spacers. Under $500 installed. Rims were around $130 each and I ran a few different types of tires, with the most expensive being 34" at $255 each.

That set up got me everywhere I needed to go and looked pretty good. All for around $2k...
