First and foremost I’m new here. Bought me a new 2018 P500 Camo about a month ago. I have been hovering during that month researching all your hard work. So a thank you is in order for sure.

Already did the reverse lever delete, sway bar removal, sea belt bypass, cup holder mod (mine lights up), choog box, and EMP plastic roof, etc.

Today I’m curious about the 26" SunF 2 vs. 26” Big Horn 2. I will put them on ITP Delta Black Steel Wheels 12x7, Offset: 5+2, Pattern: 4/110 rims, 26x12x9 on the front 26x12x11 on the back See told you i have been hovering. Anyways, from what i have read the big horns are true 26” and even perhaps 26.5”. That’s what i want but can’t say $100 cost savings on the SunF’s aren’t intriguing even if a knock off tire. If i want a true 26” SunF what should i order? See different reviews on them being different sizes.
Thanks! More to come i guarantee.

Welcome from Central Florida. I also would like to know if SunF tires run true to size.

Sun f run pretty true to size. They wont measure true unless at 14psi though. And the 9s will show better than the 11s. 11s will show a hair shorter cause rim width. Normal stuff.

I recently reshod my 2017 with 26" Bighorn 2.0's on ITP SS212 alloys. They run true to size and I have them at 8 psi in the rear and 7.5 in the front. The clincher for me was weight. The Bighorns are (based on the web... so...) about 12 lbs lighter for 4 than the Sun F.Power II's. THe alloys made a difference too, it seemed the new set up was about the weight of the stockers on steel.

I have heard complaints abut them being our of round but any after market is better than the factory tires. Don't forget to put decent skids on your upgrade bucket list.

Going to stick with big horns 2.0 and pay the extra. They seem to be best bet for me based on reviews.

Yep skids are on the list. Not sure if aluminum or steel. Rode at Indian Moutain in Piedmont, AL this past weekend and took a pounding on the front skid. Seems front and back are plastic with no good A arm protection. Any suggestions?

I think the bigger issue is that BH's are radials and, if I'm not mistaken, Sun F's aren't. That's going to make a huge difference in the ride. Looks like you have a good list going but don't see a Shield on it yet? Pretty sure you'll be wanting one of those down there in GA.

Good point. Def will do BH’s.
Yes it’s on the list for sure. Especially with hot summers here and red clay. Shooting for wheels/tires, front/rear bumper (i ride tight trails), Honda tray, and then shield. Should be ready around May to buy one. Just in time for pre-hunting season work.

Do not use aluminum of steel, get SSS OffRoad or other high quality UHMW skids and A arm protection.

I agree with Alan on the skids, gravel gets on top of the aluminum skids and makes a terrible racket. Also aluminum doesn’t slide over rocks as slick as uhmw.

Nice! I hunt in Douglasville. I’m out that way a couple of times a week checking my properties. Was out today checking coyote traps in the P500 so I’m sure you will see me soon.
