The P-5 is "tippy" with stock 24's. So yes, it will be more so with 30's.So, for you guys running the 30's did it make the bike feel tippy, unsafe or like it's going to fall over?
I with you. I'm not an aggressive ride but once in a while I'll put it through its paces to test the limits. I have had the stock 24s big horn 26s and now I have 28" maxxis zillas. I have not had a moment where my butt was eating the seat. Just last weekend I took it out for its first test with the 28s and it felt good. With that being said just like with any other vehicles: car, truck, atv etc... no one can expect to take a 90 turn at high speeds. I also ride a sport bike and in sharp turns speed will get you hurt.well I can honestly say I don't think my feels tippy at all im not very aggressive rider @ 53 and my p500 has done it share of climbing step hill and decending down them too my inclometer tell when im getting close to the red zone and as far as the deep mud it goes right threw that's my experience so I guess its safe to say to each its own on whos tippy or not lol

I like them so far. Only have about 30 miles on them. I am playing with PSI to find what works best, sidewall says 10 PSI max.
They tend to dig in loose gravel, I would suspect they also would not do well in sand. Everywhere else they work well. This is not a tire for high speed and fast turns.View attachment 6281

I think it would be totally cool to load up the tent, sleeping bags, an ice chest full of food, one full of beer and take off on BLM land and ride all day, make camp, cook dinner over the fire, drink beers and howl at the moon and then load up in the morning and ride all day back to the truck. At the right time of year of course.Yes...BML land

No, I said that I think it would be cool to do. And once I'm done with all my work and I have time to fool around a little when I'm at my NM property, it's what I intend to do. The pioneer camp sounds perfect.I'm in search of this...pioneer camp
ground called...
"Ole jo Redondo camp "
Have mapped it on my crumb tracker
