Plus trying to get any Eaton double counter shaft trans to fit between the frame rails of a one ton would be quite a feat, Alison's are a little bit taller but more narrower

Honestly I didn't know he was going to let it go that cheap when he told me about it. He needed cash right away and I was riding with friends in Tennessee they come around once in a while but you really got to look for a good deal
I've gotten a little lazy in a truck myself but will eventually go back to manual too

Ok, So plan totally changed. Picked this bad boy up for 1500 bucks running and driving. 7.3 auto, I’m going to replace the crappy sheet metal with all the new stuff I already have for the green truck and part the green truck out. Now I’ve got my dually. I’ve already paid for the truck in parts sold. This build will be quick and painless I hope. Everyone, meet big booty judy

Nope. Just finished that fender and installed the 6637 air filter to replace the big ass box. On my way to Bismarck ND now.

Some new sheet metal to post to the update. Swapped all the latches over, gotta make a parts store run in the morning for some new cables though. Thinking about putting some clearance lights in the tailgate like the chevys have.
