I down loaded a app on my phone to measure distance and this is what it came up with.
Talon PCM 0 - 30 = 78.3 feet. 0 - 50 = 348.6 feet 0 - 60 = 755 feet.
Pioneer PCM 0-30 81.3 feet 0 - 50 = 387.6 0 - 60 = 826
This was a average of three runs each
The Talon PCM from a dead stop will squall the tires and leave faint black marks turn your tires and mash on it will do a donut on the asphalt the Pioneer PCM would not do it
THANK YOU for sending me your spare PCM. It just got here today and I've already been able to make some significant headway on this project. I was able to confirm a few significant assumptions/suspicions. Side note, I'm almost positive an adapter harness will allow diagnostics and data through the obd connector using a generic OBDII device.

I can send you a PCM plug if you need it to make a adapter?

So this is just the talon PCM by its self nothing else?

Yes only changes where the PCM while recording those numbers.
But previous mods include
African twin cam
Power Commander and auto tune
Removed the cat
African twin air intake

Cat removal requires a tune right?

OK, enough about electronics .. I don't want to mess with any of that. . DO the gears replace the ones in my 2017 to lower reverse? And is it do-able at home?
Ehhhh.. well it depends. What come is your house?

Still haven't verified that. Looking at a disassembled Sub-trans and the new gears I didn't notice any difference except tooth count.

Isn't that what determines gear ratio?

Can you make a list of parts and seals needed to do the reverse lowering? A kit would be a fantastic help to everyone who owns a Pioneer 1000.

23701-HL6
Zach said he would do reverse only for $400 shipped back to your door of course you pull the sub transmission and reinstall it.
I am not in anyway part that deal.

Aren't there any seals or o-rings that get changed pulling the sub-transmission? Want to order everything at once to minimize down-time. Thanks, Eric in Reno

Yes am sure, but I have not done this mod so I don't now what is all needed, Zach said he done it and them to gears are all the hard you have to change, it is on my short list to do what I need is more time.
