Bought new from Honda Powersports of Covington. Went with the P1k5 after riding a few times with my daughter on my Rubicon and realizing we needed something more secure and comfortable to fit the whole family. She's been dubbed the Short BusView attachment 142813

I cant believe I went the whole weekend and didn't take any pictures at Stoney. Usually the wife takes thousands, so I dont have to.

Those Rockzillas just proved to offer more traction than a Pioneer can handle.

I was really impressed with mine when I only had high gear and we went up switch back. I did the beginning of Rock Creek too and got up onto the rock to winch in high, wasn't expecting it to pull through there like it did!

you have any more detail on you rock sliders? after this weekend i think im going to do some welding.. had a few boulders hit and dent the outside bar under our door.

It's just angle iron welded onto that outside rail

Parts came in to fix low and swap to the Talon Reverse. Probably get started on it next week. Going to post the parts here just for future reference. Everything came from Partzilla as they were the only ones with everything in stock. Came to $450 for everything. If you just wanted to replace a worn low gear, you'd be looking at about $225:

I'm assuming the talons revers gear is slower but will give you more power to back out of a hole or pull someone else out?

Stock Pioneer reverse is 27T with a 16/20T idler.

It's alive! Just went and romped on it going back and forth between high and low. No issues at all and engagement is rock solid now going to low 👍🏻
