I've got a new head, I saw the old one when I picked up my S x S. Valve guides gone. What I think happened with muffler and header mounted with rubber hangers they pried things apart and together, heat shield on the muffler was bent up pretty bad from being pried on. Thought about having it welded like @WagginTail but that never works for me. HA! New header on the way, wasn't as bad as I feared, $ 261.00 from Ron Ayers. I've got new seat, a-arm bushings, FR Fender splash guards and a new header coming. Sure hope I can remember how all this came apart! HA!
