I've had my 1000 for a month with stock tires and it's done in the shop for the clutches slipping going into 1st 3&5 gear and pulsing bad in reverse , really like this machine so I'm hoping the fix the problem

Whats your build date?

Where do you find build date, would be interesting to see if all the failed units build dates are close together?

Mine has a build date plate right on the frame. Passenger side inner front wheel well. At least I am assuming its a build date.

I think Honda has got it figured out, had less than 200 miles on mine when it failed. They replaced both clutch assemblies and CHAMFERED THE OIL RELIEF VALVES, I think this is key, when I got mine back, no more CLUNK, just a click while going through the gears. Good luck!

Got over 4,000 miles on mine and the clutch is smooth working. I keep the rpm over 2,000 so I'm off the clutch.
Do you ride bad trails and do you use it to work around your place? Seems like reverse with a load is the weak link.
