Looking for some good looking well functioning D rings or something like that to put on the front of my new P1000-5D. Hook me up pics and places to buy. Any suggestions welcome

I got mine from Tractor Supply. Can't remember price exactly but was less than 10 bucks. Strong as any out there.

I fabricated a plate with a weld on D-ring to install behind the fairlead mount

Looks good. I did almost the same thing. My fair lead is mounted where you put the D-ring. I welded a D-ring to the bottom of my fair lead. I like your set up due to the fact your winch pulls straight. Thought it was weird the have the winch mount lower than the fairlead.

I put these on. Fairly strong for the most part. I hate rattles, so I put a pice of thin rubber with a self sticking backing behind the ring. Works great. I also painted them with 4 coats of a silver appliance enamel then some clear coat to harden them and be chip free.
